Microsoft Updates Screen Dashboard of Xbox One

Microsoft is launching its new Xbox One dashboard design to all consoles this week. The brand new design centers on shaking-up the home page of the Xbox One dashboard, with frequently used video games and apps available instantly.

The brand new Home design contains the ability to add or remove rows to customize it further, and quick access to Xbox Game Pass, Mixer, and the Microsoft Store.

The Xbox developer has been testing this new home design for over six months, and it undoubtedly makes it simpler to find and access often used games on the house screen. This was usually buried away previously, and now you can flip an Xbox One console on and get proper again to the place you left off. The brand new design follows quite a few modifications to the Xbox One dashboard lately, along with a Fluent Design update back in 2017, a significant redesign in 2015, and updates that focused on pace.

Alongside the home display modifications, Microsoft can be allowing Xbox One owners to customize how notifications seem on a display screen. It’s a useful feature to cease notifications blocking content, and it surprisingly doesn’t exist on Windows 10 yet. Users can select between six different locations on the Xbox One, which is five extra from the default lower right-hand corner on Windows 10.

Microsoft is also tweaking the games and apps library with this update. New icons for video games with trials and demos make it simpler to identify them over full video games, and users can shortly see their prime games and apps in the library.

The brand new Xbox One dashboard update is available now, and consoles will receive the 10.0.18363.9135 update routinely.
